It's 1:44am and I'm finally 30!

I just looked up at the clock and realized what time it was and realized that I'm finally 30! The BIG 30...WOW!!! I'm going to let that sink in for awhile so I'm going to go to bed and write more about my birthday later...CRAP I can't believe that I have finally hit 30.

Sexy, Godly, and Amazing!

This week is going to be crazy. On Thursday January 31st I will be hitting the BIG 30. They ain't kidding when they say time flies. I don't know who "they" are but "they" hit the nail on the head. Tomorrow is another mile stone for my son he will be turning 8 months. I got to take my dogs to the vets tomorrow at 7:30 in the freakin' morning. I also have to preach in our school chapel services and finally the most important day of the week is today.

Today is my wife's birthday. Let me just tell you about my wife for a moment. She is a wife, mother, daughter, daughter in-law, sister, sister in-law, aunt, and friend. She is the most gifted, beautiful, devoted, forgiving, understanding, loving, encouraging, most sexiest woman in the world. I thank God everyday for allowing me to live life with her by my side. She IS my best friend and my lover. She is a mighty woman of God! I love watching her pray and worship Jesus. I love the fact that she loves Jesus more than she loves me!

I thank God every night for not answering my juvenile prayers regarding a wife and blessing me with what I never knew I needed. My wife is a gift from heaven this world is blessed to have her in it. Happy Birthday honey I love you SO much. I pray that you fall in love with Jesus more and more everyday and become the woman He designed you to be.

p.s. if this makes you sick....get over it I'm totally and madly in love with my wife.

Preached in the Mountains

On Sunday January 27th I preached at Dahlonega Assembly of God in, of course, Dahlonega Georgia. Got to be honest I didn't expect the experience my family and I had on Sunday. Seriously...and i know this might sound ignorant but I expected a bunch of mountain folks. There's nothing wrong with mountain folks AT ALL but that's what I kind of expected and when I didn't see that I was surprised. What my family and I experienced for the rest of the day was awesome! The people of Dahlonega Assembly were some of the most kind, encouraging, loving, and hospitable people I have ever met in my life. From the moment that we walked on the church campus you can literally feel the presence of God on the property. I truly believe that Dahlonega Assembly of God is the best kept secret in Dahlonega Georgia or for that matter in north Georgia.

I had so much fun preaching to and meeting the people Dahlonega Assembly of God! Please continue to pray for this amazing church they are currently in a transitional season. Things are changing at DAG soon Dahlonega won't know what hit them. If you are ever in the north Georgia mountains you should stop in Dahlonega and check it out I promise you won't regret it. I'm gonna get my preach on...

I can't wait until tomorrow. I will be preaching at Dahlonega Assembly of God. It's been a while since I have preach so I am loaded and ready to go. Seriously, it's an honor preaching at this church. Currently the church doesn't have a lead pastor so they have been having a bunch of guest speakers. I know that can get alittle confusing for the people who call this church home. So all month I have been praying and fasting that the Lord would give me messages that will encourage and challenge this great church to move forward and dream big. So please pray for my family and I as we prepare to share these messages with the people of Dahlonega Georgia. I have been reading a lot about marketing and branding for churches
lately. I found this interesting blog from Next Level Church of Matthews NC. They came up with a creative/controversial way they are promoting their church. Before you make a judgement you should probably read their blog they give some, in my opinion, great thought provoking reasons for promoting their church in this way.

Snowing in Atlanta!

I love this pic! I just took it about four hours ago when it started to snow. The crazy thing is when you think of Atlanta you think of "Hotlanta". Just goes to show you how crazy the weather is in Georgia. Weather like this makes me "home" sick for Minnesota. The best part of tonight was sharing this moment with our son. This was his first experience with snow and he loved it! We love being PARENTS!!!

Major Decision

Hey blogger world this is going to sound very vague but I have a huge favor please pray for me and my family this month. We have a huge decision regarding full time ministry. My First Offical Bowl Game!

I'm sitting down in my favorite chair and watching my very first college bowl game. What a game! Two great teams in the Super Dome battling it out. By the way I totally agree with Gary Lamb that this is the National Championship game. That's enough for now I got to get back to the game.

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year! I pray that God blesses you and your families. I pray that God expands your ministries and churches. I pray that in 2008 that you see and experience God in a new and mind blowing way! I encourage you to dream HUGE dreams in 2008. I can't wait to hear what God does in ya'll's life.
